A group of Dhokra artisans taught Nivida the techniques that passed down through generations. The young Indian designer makes these lamps with a level of creativity and innovation that transcends academic rigor and demonstrates her talents. Consequently blending a process steeped in cultural history with her unique aesthetic taste; thus creating brass pieces which both spread awareness of this historic craft and liven up any home. One of the earliest known lost wax artefacts is the dancing girl of Mohenjo-daro.
