Description Lord Lambourne has a beautifully sweet flavour that is nicely balanced by its acidity. The flesh is crisp and creamy white and the skin red flushed over a greenish yellow base. Cropping is heavy and regular and the tree has a compact habit which makes it ideal for a smaller garden. The fruit are medium sized and keep fairly well. Pick in mid September and eat from then until November. Pollination group C. This apple is partially self-fertile so it will fruit without a pollinator but will have heavier crops if a pollinator from group B, C or D is present. Partial tip-bearing. On semi-dwarfing MM106 rootstock, producing a tree of 4-4.5m. 1 year old, bareroot or potted depending on timing
