Description Nutty, sweet-flavoured, large fruit that are excellent both for eating and for cooking. When cooked the apples hold their shape well but will also make a thick purée. Flower group D. Pick in late September and store until November. Partial tip bearer. Blenheim Orange is a self-sterile triploid needing two other apple varieties, or a single self-fertile one in the vicinity for pollination.
